Jeffrey Deckman is an award-winning author, speaker, and leadership consultant whose work brings organizational design, conscious leadership, and healing into one practice. Across more than 40 years of founding businesses and working with leadership teams in business, nonprofit, and political settings, he has come to see how deeply the health of an organization depends on the quality of its relationships.
He is the author of Developing the Conscious Leadership Mindset for the 21st Century, which received two national and two international Stevie® Awards in the Best Business Book category. His M3 Process for Leadership and Organizational Transformation earned a Bronze Stevie® Award for Innovator of the Year at the 2021 International Business Awards. He also created the Bigger Know Principles of Leadership and the Organizational Trinity, frameworks that bring attention to how people think, relate, share knowledge, and shape culture. Together, they form a leadership operating system for an age of greater human independence and artificial intelligence.
A Stage IV cancer survivor, Jeffrey’s experience of illness deepened his understanding of presence, dignity, and care. He went on to become a Reiki Master, a certified energy healer, and an End of Life Doula. He also works as a Diagnosis Doula, supporting people as they navigate the human experience of a serious diagnosis.
Jeffrey brings these paths together in his work with organizations. He believes loving and respectful practices can be rigorous practices: they change how people lead, work through conflict, and care for one another, while making stronger performance possible. His work helps leaders build healthy organizations and respond with clarity and humanity when those organizations are under strain.
He lives in Nashville, Tennessee, with his wife, Dr. Laura Graye, a medical intuitive and metaphysician.
