Sarah Smithson is an internal medicine physician and co-founder of Relational Leadership Partners (RLP), a mission-driven organization committed to human-centered culture change in healthcare. She thrives in interprofessional collaborations around leadership development and innovation in health systems, communication, and team-based care delivery. Prior to founding RLP, Sarah served as the Co-CEO and Vice President of Partnerships for Intend Health Strategies, was the Assistant Dean for Clinical Education and inaugural Director for Interprofessional Education and Practice at the UNC School of Medicine, and delivered primary care for over a decade. Sarah earned a dual MD/MPH degree from Emory University in Atlanta and completed internal medicine residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.
